In class today we had a discussion about Plessy V. Fergusson. Plessy V. Fergusson ruled that “separate but equal” was legal and made segregation law stronger. It was interesting to see both sides f the argument as each half of the class described it. This case was crucial in determining the future for African Americans. It made years to come substantially more difficult and increased racial tensions dramatically. One argument for this was that its the way its always been, while opposing arguments were bases on ethics.
