This movie highlights the disgraces happening in our society during the segregation period. It's remarkable to see how differently people were treated back then. In todays society they have the ability to do whatever they want to and nothing in todays society has the capability of holding them back, other than themselves. Something I found strange about this movie is that black people used to be very respectful to people as it was a norm of society. Today many individuals lack individual respect for any person- both black and white and and any shade in between.
